
The Webinar and the Resource Person:-
A one day National Webinar was held on the 24th of September, 2020 on the Topic “Additive Manufacturing”. The resource person invited for this event was Dr. V. Vidyaa, an excellent professional in the fields of teaching and research. Dr.Vidyaa received her B.E in Mechanical Engineering from Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Chennai in the year 2007. She has completed her M.E Computer Integrated Manufacturing from the College of Engineering, Guindy under Anna University in the year 2012, and her Ph.D. from Anna University. Her Ph.D. work is based on Design And Performance Evaluation Of Additively Manufactured Metal And Polymer Based Microgrippers, which is a BRNS project, and the end products are used in BARC. Based on her research work she has published 14 papers in various conferences and journals. She has one granted patent and filed 3 Indian patents. She holds 5 prestigious awards and teaching experience of more than 9 years. Currently working as Assistant Professor and Nodal Officer for PMKVY courses in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Jawahar Engineering College, Chennai and she is also an editor for companies based on China, Korea, and the UK.
