A One-day international webinar was organized on 13 February, 2021 at 11 AM by Ryan Publishers on the topic, “Business Environments during & post Covid-19: Disruptions, Opportunities and Challenges” presented by the resource person, Mr. Nikhil Patil.
Mr. Nikhil Patil, is currently the assistant vice president of the Swiss Re Global Business Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. He has an experience of working in corporate sector since more than 10 years at various roles in Sourcing, Business Development and Project Management domains, handling various commodities like IT Professional Services and Consulting, Enterprise Market Data and so on.
He also possesses competencies across areas of Sourcing domain like Sourcing User Experience, Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Negotiations, RFxs Design & Executions, Contract Negotiations, Vendor Development/Management and Market Research, etc. He has worked across various roles in various organizations from the year of 2010.
Mr. Nikhil Patil is currently undergoing Ph.D. (Doctoral) Programme of Management Faculty” at Kousali Institute of Management Studies with the area of research being Strategic management. He has also presented and published many international papers.
The speaker discussed about the disruptions, opportunities and challenges before and the pandemic. He explained in detail about the characteristics of business environments. The introduction spoke about the pandemic and its unavoidable effects. The potential losers and the potential winners of the pandemic were also deeply explained. The session was concluded with the speaker explaining on how every disruption can be converted into an opportunity.
